One Voice for Michigan Anglers
MAC unites individual anglers, fishing clubs, charter captains, and fishing-related businesses behind one shared mission.
A Statewide Coalition for Fishing
Michigan’s fishing community is as diverse as its waters — rivers, inland lakes, and the Great Lakes each carry their own traditions, challenges, and opportunities.
The Michigan Anglers Consortium brings those voices together under one unified organization dedicated to protecting, promoting, and strengthening fishing across the state.
Every Sector. One Seat at the Table.
Protect Michigan Fisheries
Safeguard the health of our rivers, inland lakes, and Great Lakes for the anglers of today and tomorrow.
Unite Angling Communities
Bring clubs, captains, individual anglers, and businesses together so no single sector speaks alone.
Advocate in Lansing
Engage the DNR and the State Legislature with expert representation and grassroots angler input.
Guided by Experienced Anglers
Mark Williams
Executive Director
Mark leads MAC’s day-to-day operations and advocacy efforts, working with members, partners, and lawmakers to advance the consortium’s mission.
MAC is further guided by a volunteer board representing anglers, clubs, charter captains, and businesses from across Michigan — ensuring every sector of the community has a voice in how the organization is run.
