Join Michigan’s Unified Voice for Anglers

From anglers to captains, clubs, and businesses — MAC brings Michigan’s fishing community together behind one common mission.

Why Membership Matters

Strength in One Shared Voice

Individual anglers and angling organizations don’t always have the resources to drive change in Lansing on their own. By banding together and pooling our resources under MAC, we have a far stronger voice in the state capital — one that decision-makers can’t ignore.

  • More clout, more power. MAC unifies the voices of hundreds of clubs and businesses and thousands of members to advocate for our sport with real weight in Lansing.
  • A professional lobbyist working for anglers. Your membership contributions fund our partnership with the Lansing lobbying firm McAlvey Merchant & Associates. Having a paid lobbyist working alongside us gets anglers significantly more traction at the state capital.
  • Pooled resources, bigger impact. Together we can do what none of us can do alone — fund advocacy, shape priorities, and turn thousands of individual anglers into one credible, coordinated force.
